The photograph entitled. "On the peat bog" was among the 30 best works from more than a thousand submitted for the photo contest "Nature in Lens 2015". The work was presented at a post-competition exhibition, the exposition of which took place as part of the Poznan Day of Photography 2015 festival at the Museum of Archeology in Poznan.
Four of my works have been recognized in the competition for the Photographer of the Year 2015 of the Roztocze and Subcarpathia District of the Polish Nature Photographers Union. The competition Jury awarded the following prizes to my works in four thematic categories.
At the end of last year, in cooperation with the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Lublin, a 13-board wall calendar for 2015 was prepared. Among the 13 photographs published in this publishing house was also my work, which illustrates the September month card. The photograph was taken in the Solska Forest in the Józefów Forest District. The publisher of the calendar is the Lipiec Publishing House.
Photography "On the peat bog" was again awarded, this time in the Nature Around Us competition organized by the Natural Museum of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun as part of the 7th International Festival of Photography and Film "Art of Nature 2014". This work was also qualified for the post-competition exhibition, the opening of which will take place on December 3 as part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Natural History Museum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in ToruĹ.
I invite you to the Museum of the Bilgoraj Land in Bilgoraj, where my next author's exhibition entitled "Faces of Bilgoraj Land". It consists of 30 atmospheric works enlarged to 30x45 cm format. The photographs presented as part of the exhibition show the characteristic landscapes of the Bilgoraj Plain and the Solska Primeval Forest, photographed over the four seasons. This is my third exhibition devoted to the landscape of the Bilgoraj Plain. The exhibition opening will take place on October 30 (Thursday) at 11:00, and the exhibition will last until the end of December 2014.
A photograph of me by "On a peat bog" was awarded in the 21st National Nature Photography Competition FOTO EKO 2014. In addition, together with the work entitled "Parrots" will be at the post-competition exhibition, the first presentation of which will take place during the International Trade Fair for Environmental Protection POLEKO 2014 on October 14-17, 2014 in Poznan.
This photograph of me authored for the second time this year the cover of the nature magazine Przyroda Polska. This time it is September issue, and the cover features boletus edulis. In addition to this photo, inside the issue in the Eco information section, a photo of my elk was published, which illustrates the text "Elks will count again".
Two photographs of my authorship were published in the latest issue of the Przyroda Polska monthly natur magazine. The first depicting a pair of bee-eaters was placed on the cover of the magazine, while the second depicting a bastard was used to illustrate the text titled "Attempt to resume elk hunting".
On June 13, during the celebration of the Forest Festival in the Janow Lubelski Forest District, an official promotion of the album was issued on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Lublin. The "The Forests of Lublin Region" album contains over 270 photographs showing the richness and beauty of the Lublin forests throughout all seasons. The album contains 12 photographs of my authorship taken in areas administered by the forest districts: Bilgoraj and Zwierzyniec.
Two of my photographs were appreciated by the Jury of the Photographer of the Year 2014 competition in the Roztocze and Subcarpathia District of the Polish Nature Photographers Union. Work titled "Mantis" won the second prize in the Insects and Arachnids category, while the work entitled "Double vision" - III prize in the Experyment category.
