On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Roztocze and Subcarpathian District of the Polish Nature Photographers Union in 2024, a photo album entitled ‘Mysteries of Nature’ has been prepared. On 208 pages in 27x24 cm format, 178 photographs taken by 34 members of the District were presented. The introductory part of the album describes the history of the creation of the District and the achievements of its members over the past 20 years. In the final part, biographical notes of the authors of the photographs were placed together with their photographic images. The pages of the album include 8 photographs of my authorship.
This is a non-commercial publication, published in a small edition and financed by contributions from members of the Roztocze and Subcarpathian District of the Polish Nature Photographers Union.
My work entitled "Dawn in the reserve" will be presented as part of the jubilee photo exhibition on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Polish Nature Photographers Union. I am very pleased that this photograph has once again been appreciated and placed here among the 39 works presented as part of the exhibition. The first presentation of the exhibition will take place in the Education Centre of the Kampinos National Park, and its opening will take place on 17 May during an event prepared on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Polish Nature Photographers Union.
I would like to invite you to another presentation of the jubilee photographic exhibition of members of the Roztocze and Subcarpathia District of the Polish Nature Photographers Union. The exhibition was prepared on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the functioning of the District, celebrated in 2024. The works, like 10 years ago, have been collected under the title "Roztocze and Subcarpathian Visions of Nature," to particularly emphasize the fact of emotional and territorial belonging to nature of this part of our country, where we live and photograph.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on 10 May at 17:00 at the Centre for Ecological Education Janow Forests in Janów Lubelski. The exhibition will present 30 photographs in 100x70 cm format by 24photographers. Two photographs by me will be presented as part of the exhibition. The exhibition will run until the end of June this year.
I would like to invite you to the Vistula Museum - Nature Branch in Kazimierz Dolny for the vernissage and presentation of my original exhibition dedicated to the Obary nature reserve. This is the 17th presentation of the exhibition prepared in 2019 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the natural fragments of transitional and high peat bogs of sub-continental type located in the western part of the Solska Forest complex being placed under reserve protection. At present, it is part of the 50th anniversary of the reserve, which was established on the basis of the Order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry of 26 March 1975. The exhibition presents 20 photographs in 82x55 cm format in 100x70 cm frame. The works depict characteristic elements of the landscape of the Obary nature reserve photographed in the existing conditions over four seasons. The opening of the exhibition will take place on 19 January at 12 p.m. and will be combined with the presentation of digital demonstrations. The exhibition, which was created with the support of the Biłgoraj Municipality, the Biłgoraj Forest District and the Polish Nature Photographers Union, will be open to the public until 23 March 2025.
The photograph "Dawn in the reserve" was among the best works submitted for the photographic competition organised as part of the 3rd Narew Nature Festival. The photograph was presented at a post-competition exhibition held during the festival at the Hala Kultury in Łomża.
I would like to invite you to the opening and presentation of my original exhibition dedicated to the Obary nature reserve at the Castle Museum located in the Royal Castle in Sandomierz. This is the 16th presentation of the exhibition prepared in 2019 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the natural fragments of transitional and high peat bogs of subcontinental type located in the western part of the Solska Forest complex under reserve protection. The first aurora borealis photographed by me was appreciated in the 9th National Photo Contest “Poland is beautiful”, organized by the Mieczyslaw Wielomski Photography Association “Against Nothingness”. The photograph of the aurora borealis, which I took in the Upper Narew Valley, was among 67 photographs appreciated by the Jury and was awarded participation in the exhibition and post-competition album. The contest attracted 153 authors, who submitted a total of 760 works.
Once again I have prepared an author's wall calendar. I have devoted the calendar for 2025 entirely to the Obary nature reserve to celebrate 50 years of its operation. It consists of 14 cards, which are illustrated by 15 photographs taken in accordance with the theme in the area of the Obary nature reserve. The calendar was prepared in A3 format (29,7x42 cm) and printed on elegant matte paper. The calendar includes all the necessary information about holidays, festivals and name days. The opening of the exhibition will take place on August 11 at 17:00 in the Performance Hall of the Municipal Cultural Center in Zaklikow during the IX Meetings with Culture. The exhibition will feature 30 photographs in 100x70 cm format by 24 photographers. The exhibition will include two photographs by me.
This Saturday, May 18, at 19:00 at the Roztocze National Park Education and Museum Center, I will present two original digital presentations entitled. “Solska Primeval Forest. In the land of pine and wetlands” and ‘Obary’. The presentation will take place as part of the Zwierzyniec Museums Night, organized by Roztoczanski National Park together with the Zwierzyniec Brewery.
