My first aurora borealis was appreciated in the IX National Photo Contest “Poland is beautiful”, organized by the Mieczyslaw Wielomski Photo Association “Against Nothingness”. The photograph of the aurora borealis, which I took in the Upper Narew River Valley, was among 67 photographs appreciated by the Jury and was awarded participation in the exhibition and post-competition album. The contest attracted 153 authors, who submitted a total of 760 works.
